2015
Our inaugural Bow Ties and Blossoms Benefit at Church on Main was a huge success, raising funds to benefit 60 days of eating disorder treatment for a Chattanooga resident. Attended by 100 guests including local therapists and physicians, community leaders, and nonprofits, the benefit was an evening of awareness, celebration, and entertainment.
Dr. Genie Burnett, the founder and executive director of Manna Fund, and Amber Corbi, the clinical outreach coordinator for Focus Treatment Centers welcomed guests on behalf of the benefits presenting sponsors. Events with Taste brought artistry and flavor to our event with exquisite, southern infused hors d'oeurves and Chattanooga's own show band, The Malemen, set the crowd for an evening of dancing.
The highlight of the evening was our amazing speakers:
Past Manna Fund recipient and Focus Alumni, Amber S.
Founder and Director of Mary Cameron Robinson Foundation (MCR), Jan Robinson
And speaker, advocate, and author of the Body Tourist, Dana Shavin.
A big thank you to all our sponsors, guests, and to Gala chair committee: Christie Sales, Felicia Gentry, Becky Johnson, Jennifer Cook, Brittany Schreiner, and Susan Kerr and our amazing team of volunteers for all they did to make the night such a success.
